We have securely attached two brackets to the back of the slice for hanging, HOWEVER, it is the customer's responsibility to supply any other hardware needed for hanging on the wall. Poppy - Wall-mountable Sculpture - Ready to Post.

This stunning piece has been carefully and delicately hand-crafted from recycled cutlery in our family run Yorkshire workshop and then securely mounted onto a live edge solid wood yew slice. We have added two stainless steel brackets to the back of the piece for wall-mounting ease. We are just Jem and Neil, wife and husband, turning recycled materials into beautiful, original works of art. Each piece we create is an original. No two ever come together the same way due to the materials and processes we use.

The whole piece photographed above measures 44cm tall. The poppy head is around 10cm wide and sticks out from the wood by around 7cm. The whole piece weighs around 1.4kg.

Please only dust with a soft, clean cloth and avoid prolonged direct sunlight. The cutlery we use is stainless steel. We have given this particular piece a brushed metal finish. The wood is hand-finished with Bee's wax. For indoor use only.

Live edge bases are prone to shedding small amounts of material/bark. This is normal and nothing to be concerned about. It is important not to pick at the wood and to just allow it to shed naturally. We keep finishing to a minimum on these pieces to enjoy and celebrate nature so they are incredibly rustic in places. If this isn't your thing, please do not purchase this piece. If you love how the undisturbed forest looks, this is a perfect piece for you. It's about less human intervention and more about celebrating nature and life and all it's perfect imperfections.

Please do expect some small marks and imperfections given the handmade nature of this product and the materials we use. We are an upcycling business and do like to leave signs of previous life in the cutlery and snippets of nature in the wood.

This item is a delicate ornament and must be kept out of reach of children, pets and vulnerable people at all times. It is not to be used as a toy. Do NOT allow anyone to hang from, fiddle with or apply weight to this sculpture, this may result in serious injury or damage to the sculpture/wall.
